Your Private Experience Booking is only for you and your guest list. We provide only exclusive experience for private bookings, this is for the privacy and the safety of our guests. We do not have unknown guests on the same yacht you book.

There will be a sailor and crew member / members, depeding on the yacht size. If it’s a sail boat, there will be a one sailor and a crew member to assist you and the group throughout. If it’s a Power Yacht, there will be one sailor and 2/3 crew members to assist throughout the experience. 

There is water, ice box (in some of the sail boats) refrigerator, cutlery (utensils, plates, glasses), & tissues. The crew member is always available for assistance for helping out the goup with food and beverages. We encourage to carry your own paper or cutlery you can carry back, if you specifically want your own. We try to reduce and minimise any plastic and leave the least pollution factor at sea.

There are life jackets available on all the yachts. These are mandatory to be worn by all guests as instructed by the sailor and the crew on the boat / yacht. This is non-negotiable as the port, naval, & dock authorities always monitor al the vessels at the sea. If intercepted by these authorites for not adhering to these safety measures instructed by the yacht crew, there can be legal obligations by the authority to interrupt your experience and bring you back to the shore for your safety purpose. In extreme cases the authorities can impose a lawful prcedure if not adhered to these rules.

We work with only selected and well vetted out sail boats and yachts, with a crew who has years of experience. The crew members are one of the most humble and hospitable members, they keep your safety and experience at the heart of their duty. There is a first aid kit always accessible on all the boats / yachts. There is life jackets always available on the yachts. Network is always available throughout the experience for any emergency reasons to assist you & your group out of the sea at the earliest. The nearest hospital is the Bombay Hospital at Marine Lines for any extreme scenario, we can request for immediate evacuation with the help of speed boats from your sailboat/yacht.

Our team at TBSC and the crew are always vigilant on the weather and the sea conditions on a regular basis for every booking. We communicate with our guests in advance if there is any alert or precaution that needs to be shared before the date of your sail. If there is any such condition where the operation of the experience is not possible, you either can change the date of your experience (depending on the availability of the boat / yacht for change in the date) or we refund your entire amount towards the booking.

In case of cancellation a full refund is possible in the circumstances of weather restrictions or non-operation of the experience from our end. If you want to cancel for any reasons (personal/family emergency) a partial or no refund is applicable on case to case basis (we evaluate the circumstances and take a call). This is fully under our discretion, if the cancellation is done atleast one week in advance for any reasons, a partial refund is applicable. It’s non-refundable if a cancelation request is placed from 5 days before the date of the sail. 

Change of date is applicable if we are informed atleast a week in advance, the date of change is applicable basis the availability of the boat/yacht and any additional arrangements requested, are available for the new date requested by you. For the change of date if any additonal charges are applicable will need to bared by the booking guest.

Once you have finalised all the arrangements and confirmed on the booking request. You’ll received the payment informatin along with the payment details. 

Once the payment is done post all the booking & arrangement options confirmation, you’ll receive the confirmation message along with other information on when and how you’ll receive the sailing day instructions.

The Sailing instructions will be sent to the host booking guests (guest who has made the booking, payment & and has been communicating for the booking). The guest will receive a PDF document over WhatsApp along with a brief text message with all the instructions, guidelines & contact details of the team member who’ll meet and greet you & your group at the jetty.

As the jetty is in a high security zone of the Indian Naval Base, it is a mandate to share every guest details which is used to fill in a security registration form by the port authorities before entering the jetty and clearing the security check. The details needed are as follows: Full Name and Age of all the Guests. The main guests (guest making the booking) Full Name, Contact No. and Aadhaar No. This is mandate and non-negotiable, without these details no civilians are allowed to pass through the security check at the jetty for cruising / sailing at in the harbour. 

Note: If you have foreign national guests joining as part of your guest list, then any one of the Indian guests details will be required for the secuirty check registration.

All guests can carry their own food and non-aloholic beverages. This needs to be shared with us during the booking request so that if there is any arrangement need to be done on the yacht in regards with the food and beverage you carry, can be communicated with our crew in advance.

As the experience is at sea in a close vicinity of the Indian Naval Defence Headquarters, there are restrictions on certain things to be carried on the sail without permit or informing your booking partner(us). 

Drones are strictly not allowed. Any one carrying / using these may face legal process by the government authorities. 

You cannot carry a DSLR or a professional camera without permits. 

You cannot carry any kind of alcohlic beverages wihtout permits or without informing the booking partner.

Drugs or any narcotics is strictly prohibited.
